The first three players picked in the 2008 NBA draft Thursday night were freshmen. Derrick Rose of Memphis went to Chicago with the first pick.

He was followed by Kansas States Michael Beasley going to Miami. The third pick was O.J.Mayo from USC, he was taken by the Timberwolves but ended up a Memphis Grizzly after a late night trade.

With pick four Seattle took UCLA guard Russell Westbrook and then another freshman, this time Kevin Love of UCLA was taken by the Grizzles and was then involved in the trade involving Mayo, ending up in Minnesota.

Follow the draft tracker to see what your team did and where your favorite player went.
