The Semgroup Championship is on the move again, this time a little later in the month of May. The 2009 tournament will be held from May 25th through the 31st with an eye on making things easier for everyone involved.

Semgroup president Tom Kivisto says the new date will help those with children since it is after most of the schools are out.

Cedar Ridge country club director of golf Buddy Phillips is also pleased with the move because he says it will allow the grass to mature on the course to make conditions better for championship play. Paula Creamer won the 2008 event in a playoff with LPGA hall of famer Julie Inkster.
