A Major League oddity

Interleague play brings some great match-ups. How about the Cubs-White Sox, maybe the Mets-Yankees, or the Cardinals-Royals. All those series continued last night but none were quite like the Dodgers-Angels game Saturday night.

Angels pitchers Jered Weaver and Jose Arredondo combined on a no hitter, sort of. The Angels due didn't allow a hit but it lasted only eight innings and the Angels lost the game! The Dodgers won 1-0 on an unearned run and didn't bat in the ninth inning so the Angels lost the game and the no hitter. '>You can read how it went here and scratch your head with the rest of us.
