Tulsa drills Jackson State by 53??? Yep, really...
Tulsa hit a three to start the game and was never close after that, TU hammered Jackson State 92-39 in the first game off an eleven day break. Bem Uzoh scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds and eight assists in just 27 minutes of action. Justin Hurtt had 14 and Steven Idlet added eleven points and eight rebounds as well.
Tulsa held the Tigers to just 24% from the field and outrebounded Jackson State 52-26. This was game one in the Las Vegas Hardwood series tournament. Tulsa will play Chicago State at the Reynolds Center Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in the second round before moving on to Las Vegas for the final two games in the tournament.
