One of Tulsa's most internationally known events haappens in January. It's the Chili Bowl Nationals and they are headed our way in a few days.

A field of competitors, including NASCAR stars are set to swarm upon Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 12-16, 2010, with 260 entries that have been filed for the 24th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals representing a total of 27 different states from coast to coast as well as New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

The QuikTrip Center at Expo Square will be the site of the 24th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals. Pre-qualifying begins Tuesday night, January 12th with qualifying events taking place Wednesday night through Friday. The event concludes with Saturday night's 50-lap Chili Bowl championship event.
