Fox 23 - Teacher Irate Over Ticket

(TULSA, Okla.) April 18 - A run-in for Tulsa police officers who were trying to catch teenage speeders.
Instead they caught a very irate adult. The dramatic traffic stop happened Wednesday afternoon as our camera rolled during patrols near East-Central High School.
It turns out this just hasn't been his week. Tulsa police pull over a man who says he says he got a ticket just yesterday, and now today slapped with another one. And it's not cheap, at $130.
Even so officers really didn't know what to think when they approached his car, and he started yelling at them.
Feel like the teacher may have gotten off easy?
Especially given the stop sign dash?

- WowThis just proves the kind of moronic behavior that cops have to deal with on a daily basis.
I wish this guy's identity would have been shown by Fox 23, although I understand why it wasn't.
Moreover, I recognize the humility the officers showed by not writing him a ticket for not having proof of insurance or for running the stop sign. The reality is that these are the decisions our men in blue (or are those new uniforms black?) show each and every day during their jobs.

Thanks for sharing this on your blog! - Teacher breaking the lawYes, I think he got off light - he should have been ticketed for running the stop sign, as well as both times he was speeding. The school might want to take a look at his classroom behavior also. It appears he may have a temper problem.
