Snakes in a backyard, Part II

I was able to get a better picture of one of the snakes that has been frequently seen in our neighborhood lately. I'm feeling pretty comfortable that this snake type is non-poisonous.

Yet, there are some other snakes I've yet to photograph.

The picture below, of our twins Hudson and Brooks, illustrates my concern about snakes in my community.

snakes in backyard
looks like a cotton mouth to me. the come out when its real wet, usually they can be found around ponds, creeks and lakes.
