For all of our KRMG listeners who called their state senators last week, you'll be interested in knowing that the senate passed the bill which contained an amendment to require Oklahoma gas retailers to visibly label the ethanol content of the fuel.

Many Tulsans first learned of this issue in the KRMG series "What's in Your Gas?"

The bill now awaits Governor Henry's signature.

I haven't heard any indication what the governor plans to do with this bill.

You may contact Governor Henry's office 405-521-2342 or send him a message on the state's online form.

  • E10 Bill
I wish the community was as concerned about having the federal and state governments label the amount of federal and state taxes on a gallon of gas. The amount of revenue generated is not proportionate to the amount spent on road repair. If you were to have a more public since of awareness we might be able to force better accountability on the part of our elected officials who continually let us down and we continually vote them back in.
