Rumor on the Internets: Michelle Obama Railed Against "Whitey"
KRMG's Sean Hannity has joined the discussion about an Internet rumor involving the Obama family.
First, here's the rumor:
Rumor has it that there is video of Michelle Obama "railing against 'whitey' at Jeremiah Wright's church."
If this is true, it could be lethal. It's one thing to distance yourself from your pastor, but quite another thing to distance yourself from your spouse.
Might Rev. Wright be the one leaking the video?
Be warned: Again -- this might be just be a rumor. Or it might be big -- if it's true. Stay tuned ...
Update: I talked to Larry Johnson, the blogger who has this story. I don't personally know Johnson, but his bio seems pretty credible. He was once considered a "darling of the Left," but has become somewhat of a "bad guy" since turning against Obama.
He speculates the goal is to hold onto the video till August.
At a minimum this rumor is out there.
Now, here's how Sean Hannity addressed the rumored video.
That certainly doesn't sound like a denial.
Yet, I am of the impression that if Hannity had the audio, he'd play it immediately.
Why?
Because if he has it and doesn't play it, someone else will.
There was once a time in which the media (TV, radio, newspaper) could keep a secret. But, with the proliferation of the Internet and blogging, the mainstream media know that if they don't move a story forward immediately, someone else will.

Do you understand logic? Do you understand reason? I don't agree with Rev. Wright's comments, but it was his church, his congregation - let him say what he wants. Did anyone die from what he said? Were their hate crimes associated with his comments? And so what if Michelle Obama called someone "Whitey?" Is she her husband? Will she be running for the Presidency? Will she be the one affecting policy?
It is comments like the ones posted here that make normal (and I realize that's a term open to subjectivity), every-day American's question the democratic process. We have created a world where, yes, you can say anything you want, but then you will be criticized for it indefinitely.

Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.

For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on “whitey”, and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America.
