VIDEO: Whoopi Goldberg on moon landing: FAKE
While the nation recognized and honored the 40th anniversary of the achievement of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely home, The View's Whoopi Goldberg utilized that time to challenge the authenticity of the moon landing.
In spite of the fact that the conspiracy myths have been repeatedly debunked, Whoopi chooses to believe and refuses to let the facts get in the way of her opinion.

What others are saying
- Correcting other person's comment... and agreeing in part...The 3rd person, Michael Collins, was not on the moon, but rather was in orbit around moon awaiting return of Armstrong and Aldrin. The footage of Armstrong and Aldrin was done with a camera set up to run on its own, just like the camera that took footage of Armstrong exiting the Lunar Excursion Module and first setting foot on the moon. That said, Goldberg remains an idiot, setting the standard expected from The View, which is no standard at all. Next she will be expert on Global Warming, which, unlike the moon landings, is a hoax. She needs to go back to Hollywood Squares...
- How Stupid Can You Get?Who shot the footage? Are you kidding me? She says both astronauts are in the film. Does she not even know that there were three men who went?! Kudos to Barbara Walters for taking a logical position and trying to talk some sense into a senseless commentary.
