The animated Fox comedy King Of The Hill will feature celebrity guests like Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller, and Christina Applegate in its upcoming eighth season. New episodes of the Texas-flavored comedy are currently being produced, according to the network, which also recently renewed the show for a ninth season.

Just Married star Brittany Murphy plays Luanne, the show's midriff-baring, simple-minded cousin. She talks about what to expect in the new season: "There's an episode where Brad Pitt's playing Boomhauer's cousin. It's so good. I mean, that's just one example. We recorded an awesome one with Elijah Wood and Dax from Punk'd on MTV. All these wonderful people that are part of it and a lot of times people don't know these really cool celebrities lend their voice. But there's some really priceless episodes coming up."

Original American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has been lined up for a guest spot in the upcoming season as well.

King Of The Hill airs Sundays on Fox.
