Trace Adkins' appearance at Tower Records at Nashville's Opry Mills Shopping Center on Tuesday (July 8th) pulled in a record number of fans anxious to meet the singer. More than 400 people showed up to have their copy of Adkins' brand new album, Greatest Hits Collection, Volume 1, autographed by the singer on the day of its release. According to officials at Tower Records, Adkins' in-store appearance marked the largest attendance for any artist since the store opened over three years ago.

Trace Adkins Greatest Hits Collection, Volume 1,contains 12 of the singer's biggest hits, in addition to two new songs, including his current single, "Then They Do," which sits at Number 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.

Adkins will become the next member of the Grand Ole Opry on August 23rd.
