Denver Foxx had one thought after he saw his first live remote radio broadcast at the state fair - "Hey, I could do that!"

With his newfound inspiration, Foxx got his first on-air radio job as a high school student and continued working in the business working at various small market stations while attending St. Gregory’s college in Shawnee.

As a student at Tulsa University in 1973, he worked at KAKC. Then, in 1975, he made the switch from rock music to the smooth sounds of KRMG. With the exception of a few years at KRAV in the early 1980s, Foxx has been with KRMG ever since.

In their spare time, Foxx and his wife, Connie (KRMG's weekly radio veterinarian), are busy caring for Green Country's furry friends. Denver and Dr. Connie have done volunteer work with several local animal rescue groups, and does some occasional wildlife rehabbing. Foxx is past president of the Tulsa Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Denver is the senior producer for the KRMG Morning News weekdays. You can hear Denver on Saturday mornings from 6: - 9: as host for The Home Improvement Hour, Wheels & the KRMG Pet Care Clinic.
