From that first station in Alabama, Hannity quickly moved to WGST in Atlanta where his strong ratings attracted the attention of WABC New York and the Fox News Channel. In the fall of 1996, Hannity moved to New York to co-host the new "Hannity and Colmes Show" for the fledgling cable news outlet. Fox was so confident in Hannity's ability to attract viewers, it slotted the show at 9pm Eastern, opposite Geraldo on CNBC and Larry King on CNN. Today, "Hannity" is consistently one of the most watched programs on cable news.
In the world of radio, Hannity joined WABC Radio in 1997. After working as a late night host for a year, Hannity moved to the prestigious afternoon slot where he quickly became the #1 show on New York radio's fiercely competitive AM dial.
Voted "Talk Personality of the Year" in 2001 by the readers of R&R, Sean Hannity's energy, charisma and seasoned professionalism score points with audiences and critics alike. Sean Hannity is the hottest commodity in talk radio.
