NewsTalk 740 KRMG was also honored with the prestigious Community Service Award for our coverage and service during the 2007 Ice Storm and the contributions to the Make A Wish Foundation of Oklahoma during the "Stories of Light" campaign.

NewsTalk 740 KRMG has also been named a finalist for Metro Market Radio Station Of The Year. KRMG has won this highest achievement from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters for the last five consecutive years, a first at the OAB.

KRMG Morning News host Joe Kelley has also been named a finalist for Metro Market Personality of the Year.

  As NewsTalk 740 KRMG marks its 59th year of broadcasting we are honored by our mutliple 2007 OAB awards and nominations.

  The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters also celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year and continues to spawn excellence in Oklahoma's broadcasting community.

  The annual OAB Awards Banquet will be held on Friday, March 28, at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Staff members of KRMG and COX Radio Inc. (Tulsa) will be in attendance to celebrate!
