NewsTalk 740 KRMG is providing special continuing live team coverage of the aftermath of the tornado that ravaged Picher, Oklahoma, about 85 miles northeast of Tulsa. Six people are dead and 150 injured in this Green Country community after this storm. The picture above is of the tornado that touched down in Picher.
SITUATION UPDATES
Governor Brad Henry toured the area Sunday and gave reporters an update afterwards.
The Oklahoma State Emergency Management Office is on the ground in Picher, along with representatives from multiple agencies to provide aide to local residents.
