Did he know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the man lying on the floor was neutralized? In the heat of the moment? With lives hanging in the balance? With just seconds to decide? Maybe you have the chutzpah to judge that the pharmacists actions were excessive ... maybe you would have acted with more restraint. Then again, maybe your headline would have read: Pharmacist Killed After Wounding Assailant. His response was reasonable. Don't armchair QB a life and death decision that saved innocent lives.
