Alternative Fuels Study
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Easing the pain at the pump. State Representative Joe Dorman is spearheading a study to encourage alternative fuel use. The Rush Springs Democrat says one problem to overcome is availability. He says stations won't offer alternative fuels unless there's a market for them and consumers won't buy the vehicles if the stations don't offer the fuels. He's hoping to find a way to offer tax incentives to consumers and entice the stations to carry such fuels as compressed natural gas and hydrogen.
