TULSA, Ok. - Tulsa police are investigating a home invasion homicide. Police say a man broke into a couple's home near 38-hundred South Union about four Wednesday morning and demanded money.

Police say there was a struggle with a gun that belonged to the homeowner. During the struggle, the woman was reportedly shot and killed. The resident was shot in the hand.

Police say the suspect got away in an off-white 90's mid-size S-U-V. Police are looking for a dark-complected white male about 20 who was wearing a dark beanie. Police are investigating if the man who entered the home knew the victims.

What others are saying

  • Daughter Involved?
"Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!"
  • Killed By Own Gun
It's a shame that the violence against this family occurred with their own gun.

Wonder what the libs will think of that? I'm sure we'll have those in Oklahoma who just can't wait to see a decision at the Supreme Court today on guns. Perhaps we'll have them all taken away as we move towards our socialist society.
  • Street view?
That's silly. Street view has nothing to do with this. If it were an affluent area, maybe.
KJRH website says the intruder is an acquaintance of the couple's 19 year old daughter. Apparently not random.
I am a life-long westsider about the same age as the victim. I'm worried I may know her. Sad regardless.
  • Invasion of more than just privacy
I sure hope Google's new "live pictures" didn't have a part in this home invasion.
