(Tulsa, Ok) -- Too big. Too long. And too confusing. That's how Tulsa City Councillor Bill Christiansen describes the current plan to fix Tulsa streets. So he's come up with a plan of his own.

His plan would add one year to the existing Third Penny Sales Tax.  The plan would also capture the city's portion of the 4-to-Fix-the-County sales tax, and dedicate it to funding streets.  Plus his plan authorizes a new dedicated Steet Bond. 

Christiansen says it's important that city leaders be sensitive to the current economic challenges many citizens face, in the light of record prices for fuel, food and home energy.
