Burbank Academy Still Looking for Home

(Tulsa, OK) -- Tulsa Public Schools won't put the Burbank Academy in a building behind Bell Elementary after all. The school board and Superintendent Dr. Michael Zolkoski made the decision to look for a new site after hearing from parents that were concerned about having a school for students with substance abuse problems so close to an elementary school. District spokeswoman Tami Marler says they don't have a timeline for finding a new site but consider it an urgent matter because of a rise in the number of students that are using and abusing substances.
