TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Police have arrested a 25-year-old Tulsa man on a child abuse complaint after his young son was found dead.

A police report says authorities believe Terry Lamar Green waited too long to call 911 for the 4-year-old boy. The cause of the boy's death is unknown.

EMSA responded to a call that a boy had fallen at the Mohawk Manor Apartments in Tulsa on Tuesday morning.

When paramedics arrived, the boy was unconscious and not breathing.

The boy was taken to St. John Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A medical examiner said there appeared to have been a significant delay in seeking medical attention for child.
