(Tulsa, OK) -- The restoration of the Crystal Ballroom will consume $2 million of the $40 million overhaul of Mayo Hotel.  Official ground breaking ceremonies follow two months of actual reconstruction inside the gutted shell.  Wiring and walls are complete on several floors of the historic building in downtown Tulsa.  The first event is planned for the ballroom in October of 2009.  Luxury hotel rooms and loft apartments will fill the remaining floors.
