(Tulsa, OK) -- The City of Tulsa and The University of Tulsa enter a partnership to preserve and advance Gilcrease Museum.  The agreement places the management of the museum under one roof.  Gilcrease houses the world's largest collection of art and artifacts from the American West.  T.U. President Steadman Upham says they will streamline museum operations.  The plan is to use the school's recognized academic expertise in American history, art history, anthropology and archaeology to carry Gilcrease into a "new era."
