Drive-by shooting injures 2 people
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Two people have been injured in a drive-by shooting at a Tulsa grocery store.
Police say a crowd of teenagers had gathered in the store's parking lot Saturday night when the gunfire broke out.
Deandre Dabney and Willie Marshall were both hit in their upper thighs. Both were taken to St. John Medical Center, where Dabney was treated and released.
Tulsa Police Capt. Karen Tipler says Marshall underwent surgery and is in stable condition.
Tipler says a red Chevrolet Blazer with two men inside drove through the area around 11 p.m. when the gunman fired into the crowd 3 or 4 times.
Security cameras overlook the parking lot, but Tipler says she didn't know if the gunfire was captured on film.
