Fireball from train derailment forces evacuations
The fire is out and people are able to head home after a train fire forces evacuations within a half-mile radius of the incident. A train derailed and its cargo bursts into flames. It happened yesterday afternoon near Luther. The 110 car train included eight tank cars that contained petroleum products. Only the engineer and conductor were on board and they were not injured. Rail company spokesman Joe Faust says the train was traveling less than 40 miles per hour from Tulsa to Temple, Texas. Investigators haven't determined what caused the train to derail.
