Gov. Henry likes Biden
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Gov. Brad Henry says he likes Sen. Barack
Obama's running mate selection.
Henry, an Oklahoma superdelegate at next week's Democratic
National Convention in Denver, said Saturday U.S. Sen. Joe Biden of
Delaware is a good choice.
Henry, scheduled to travel to Denver on Saturday, says Biden
will make a strong ticket even stronger. The convention opens
Monday.
Henry endorsed Obama in April, saying the Illinois senator
represents the change that is critical for the nation.
Henry said earlier he voted for Obama during Oklahoma's Feb. 5
presidential primary.
But Oklahoma Democrats favored U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton of New
York. She won the primary with 55 percent of the votes compared
with 31 percent for Obama.
