CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ok. - A collision between two motorcycles, two pickup trucks and a van killed an Owasso man. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say 63-year old Ronald Arthur Perry died about 5:22 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 82 one-half mile south of Jones Road in Cherokee County. Pickup driver 50-year old Ralph Edward Gourd of Tahlequah and the other motorcycle driver, 65-year old James Edmond McDaniel of Owasso, were injured. Gourd was treated and released at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. McDaniel was hospitalized at St. John Hospital in Tulsa. Six people in a van driven by 23-year old Amber Lynn Conway of Peggs escaped injury. State Troopers say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
