Police look into burglaries at cemeteries, parks
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa police think the same two people likely are responsible for a string of vehicle burglaries at local cemeteries and parks.
Police Officer Leland Ashley says at least 15 vehicles have been broken into at LaFortune Park, Memorial Park Cemetery and in a parking lot for a jogging trail.
Police say the two suspects drive a 1990s-model blue Cadillac and a gray Scion. Ashley says they typically break windows, then steal purses and take credit cards and bank cards.
He says police think the suspects watch as people exit their vehicles.
