(Tulsa, OK) -  The congregation of Kirk of The Hills church has narrowly approved the purchase of their church's property from their former parent organization.

The church members voted 51-percent in favor on Sunday night to buy the property for $2 million from Presbyterian Church USA, which Kirk of the Hills split away from two year ago.

Both sides had been involved in a legal battle over which of them had rights to the land, but a judge ruled last month in favor of the parent group.
