Armed robbery spree ends with a traffic stop
TULSA, Ok. - Four young men were arrested early today in connection with three armed robberies. News On Six Photographer Gary Kruse says the first hold-up was about 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Shenandoah Valley Apartments near 14000 E. 24th where "a man said he was approached by two men one of whom was carrying a weapon and demanded money. The victim ran to his apartment and was able to get away without losing any property." The suspects were arrested right before two this morning during a police stop near 3900 South Mingo. Police found a purse inside the car. It allegedly belonged to a woman who was robbed overnight at the Silver Springs Apartments near 8500 E. 62nd St. The other robberies were at the Park Plaza East Apartments near 13000 E. 16th St. and at a house at 1310 S. 117th East Avenue.
