OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A state grand jury is investigating whether
Pittsburg County District Attorney Jim Miller (pictured) improperly subpoenaed
records from an Internet site.
Miller testified Tuesday before the grand jury in Oklahoma
City and said afterward he was told not to talk about it.
The Web site McAlester Watercooler has posted comments critical
comments of Miller and last August was subpoenaed for the names and
Social Security numbers of 35 people who had posted comments.
Site operator Harold King also testified before the grand jury
Tuesday and said he too was told not to discuss his testimony.
King did say he hopes the investigation leads to a new district
attorney.
Miller said in August that he was a victim of criminal libel by
being accused of being a drug dealer and of taking and paying
bribes.
