TULSA, Ok. - Lightning from last night's storm gets the blame for a Tulsa house fire. One homeowner at 5716 South Evanston Place heard a lightning strike hit his chimney and his smoke detector started to go off. News On Six Photographer Gary Kruse says, "He climbed up into the attic and could see fire so he came back down and evacuated his family and called the fire department." Kruse says the lightning bolt had knocked bricks off the chimney and into the yard. He says the damage amounts to about $40,000. Other house fires reportedly started by lightning occured at 6410 South Louisville, 5542 South Madison, 7713 West 16th and at 8535 East 64th Street.
