Two shooting investigations keep Tulsa police busy
TULSA, Ok. - Two overnight shootings are under investigation today. A man was shot at 12:24 a.m. at the Meadows Apartments at 2830 South 106th East Avenue. Tulsa Police Sergeant Mark Watson says, "Found one victim, black male, that was down on the ground here in front of this apartment that the door's open. He had been shot one time in the abdominal area with a small-caliber weapon." The victim was taken to a hospital. He was not cooperating with police and no one has been arrested. Another shooting at 411 South 41st West Avenue involved a domestic dispute that turned into an altercation between two men, one armed with a gun and the other with a hatchet. The hatchet-bearer was hospitalized with several gunshots administered by the man with the gun. The shooter was detained for questioning.
