Arrest Made for Alleged Murder for Hire Plot

(Tulsa, OK) -- Tulsa Police may have stopped a murder. Officer Jason Willingham says 55 year old Stephen Alan Bowen was arrested Monday night after he tried to hire an undercover detective to kill his wife.  Willingham says Bowen offered over $10,000 dollars to the detective to murder his wife and make it look like a home invasion. Bowen is being held in the Tulsa Jail on $100,000 bond.
