(Tulsa, Ok)--A Democrat joins the race for Mayor of Tulsa, State Senator Tom Adelson made the announcement Wednesday morning in Braden Park in mid-town Tulsa. Adelson says he wants to make Tulsa the type of city that will attract families and the businesses to provide jobs. His entrance into the race sets up a possible rematch of a close 2004 State Senate District 33 contest. In that campaign Adelson defeated Republican Dewey Bartlett. Adelson got 51% of the vote to Bartlett's 49%. Bartlett is also running for Mayor.
