It's much worse than the initial reports. Boyd was allegedly offering to pay for sexual favors and photographing local teenagers performing sexual acts in his bedroom. A digital camera was confiscated at the same time as his personal computer. It showed some of these images.

Court documents have been filed by the police that detail all this information and more, as reported today in the Tulsa World in "Court filing gives details of evidence in sex case."

Greg Boyd also taught Sunday school at Indian Springs Baptist Church and had ties to the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse theater group.

Parents need to have a talk with their kids, show them Boyd's photograph, and ask some serious questions. Even if their kids weren't directly involved with any of these organizations, they may have friends who were or who knew Boyd and their kids could have been invited to join them for a visit over to Boyd's house to participate in activities.

Parents need to prepare their kids from a young age what to do if they come in contact with a sexual predator. They can look like anyone, be very nice, hold responsible, respected positions of authority, and still have a predator hidden within their personality. They often are someone in your own family or circle of friends. Kids can deal with a situation, if they know ahead of time how to handle it. Don't put off having this talk.

There are a lot of predators out there who just haven't been caught yet.
