(Tulsa, Ok)--Going green will bring 1400 new jobs to Okmulgee. A waste recycling firm, Waste Not Technologies, will build a plant in the east Oklahoma town. John Robertson with the Okmulgee Area Development Corporation says construction will start in weeks with completion of the 800,000 square foot facility expected in a couple of years. The plant will take solid waste and turn it into usable products. It keeps the solid waste out of landfills. Waste Not Technologies is based in Destin, Florida.
