Oklahoma authorities find 2-year-old boy in Kansas
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities have located a 2-year-old boy, whom they say was taken from Mannford without permission by his grandmother.
Mannford police said late Wednesday that Phyllis Potter and Hayden Lane Potter were found in Kansas. A dispatcher at the police department had few details, but said the little boy was all right. He said he didn't know if Phyllis Potter had been arrested.
Officers began searching for the pair after the boy's mother told them Phyllis Potter didn't have permission to take the child.
Authorities say Phyllis Potter had said she was driving to McAlester to get her son out of prison.
