A Tulsa mother is in jail, accused of second degree manslaughter and child neglect.

Police said Krysta Dawson is the mother of a 9-month-old who died of complications from a near drowning.

They said Dawson was in the kitchen of her apartment at the time doing dishes.

She told investigators that a 19-month-old child and the baby were both in the tub in the bathroom.

Dawson said the baby was face down in the tub when she returned.
