TULSA, Ok. - Tulsa Police are investigating two overnight armed robberies that may be connected. The first one was at the Mazzio's Restaurant at 3975 South Garnett and the second was at the Whattaburger Restaurant near 1400 South Peoria. In both robberies, the suspects were described as young males armed with a shotgun. At the Whattaburger, the suspects took money from the cash register. At the Mazzio's, they took a victim's gold chain. No one has been arrested. Police also are investigating a stabbing at the Comanche Park Apartments near 3800 North Peoria. Two men were involved in an altercation inside an apartment when one man stabbed the other. The victim stumbled away from the scene and fell. He was hospitalized in extremely critical condition. Police arrested a suspect in another part of the complex. Also, a family of four is homeless after a fire destroyed their rural home at 11400 North 31st West Avenue near Sperry. The woman who lived there said she went to bed and had been sleeping when she awoke and found the fire. She, her husband and two children were able to escape without injury. Later about 3 a.m., Tulsa Police responded to a home invasion-robbery near Pine and Yale. The female occupants said they were tied up with zip-ties by three males who kicked in the front door. Two of the intruders were armed with guns. They took some video games and some cash. No one was hurt.
