TU OU Join Forces To Boost Community Health

(Tulsa, Ok) -- Plans for a medical school partnership between the University of Tulsa with the University of Oklahoma are unveiled.  The goal: To establish a joint four-year community medical education program.  TU President Steadman Upham said the hope is to effect real and dramatic gains in the health of Oklahomans. The vision is to produce physicians with a focus on community health.  The first class in the new program will begin studies in the fall of 2014.
