Deadly Blaze
(Tulsa, OK) -- One person dies when a travel trailer burns. Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene near 11th and Mingo by witnesses who saw flames coming from the trailer. It happened around 11 last night. Investigators aren't sure what caused the blaze.

Two Children Die In Fire
(Tulsa, OK) -- A deadly fire at a South Tulsa apartment complex has taken the lives of two children and sent three other individuals to area hospitals. The fire broke out at the Canyon Creek apartments shortly before 1:30 yesterday afternoon. A three-year-old died at a hospital and the body of a one year old was found in an apartment. Two adults and another three-year-old child are hospitalized with burns and smoke inhalation. Fire Investigators say they believe the fire was an accident, but they have yet to speak to the two adults who were inside the apartment when the blaze broke out.

Athlete to Stand Trial
(Tulsa, OK) -- It looks like a stand-out athlete will take the state. A judge orders T-S-S-T's Prentiss Elliot to trial on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer. The charge stems from a December 9th incident when Elliot scuffled with Officer Josh Martin during a basketball game. Elliot's attorney Richard O-Carroll says the charge should be dismissed because Martin was working as a security officer. The dispute followed complaints of racism made to Martin by some fans.

Indictments Handed Down
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- The state's multi-county grand jury adjourned from its February session yesterday, but not before indicting two people and one corporation in four sealed indictments. The indictments will be unsealed in Oklahoma County District Court, although a date has not yet been set for that action.

Clark's Oklahoma Votes
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Although Wesley Clark has dropped out of the Democratic presidential race, he will still have some delegates from the state of Oklahoma when the Democrats get together for their 2004 convention. According to Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Jay Parmley, Clark will have ten delegates at the Democratic National Convention. Parmley says Clark will probably release those votes to another candidate when the convention gets underway. Oklahoma is the only state that chose Clark as its Democratic candidate for the presidency during the state's primary election.

Sex Offender Castration
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- One state lawmaker wants Oklahoma to crack down on sex offenders. Representative Frank Shurden of Henryetta has introduced a bill that would allow for the castration of rapists and those who force sodomy on an individual. Convicted offenders would first be given medication to prevent sexual activity. But, repeat offenders would be surgically castrated. Texas and California have similar laws.

Civil Rights Activists
(Edmond, OK) -- Highly recognized civil rights activist Clara Luper, leader of the Oklahoma City sit-in movement during the 1950s and '60s, will speak about her struggles for racial equality in the University of Central Oklahoma's Constitution Hall on February 24th. Luper was a leader in the Oklahoma City school integration fight. She led the march to Lawton to integrate Doe Amusement Park and participated in the historic march on Washington and the civil rights march in Selma, Alabama. Luper has received over 471 awards and honors for her work and has been arrested 26 times for her activism. The event is free to the public.

Head On Crash
(Fairfax, OK) -- A head on collision just north of Fairfax has taken the life of one man and left two others in critical condition. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a car being driven by 18-year-old Jason Ray Dilbeck of Fairfax crossed the center line and struck a vehicle being driven by 27-year-old Steven Clark Gates of Ralston. Gates was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. Dilbeck and a passenger identified as 18-year-old Steven Eric Kizziar were both air-lifted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The wreck happened about 5:45 yesterday afternoon.
