Tulsa Council Recall Vote
(Tulsa, OK) -- More legal action is being taken in the recall effort against Tulsa City Council members Chris Medlock and Jim Mautino. The group that filed the petition is asking a judge to order the council to set a date for the recall election. Earlier this week Medlock, Mautino and a group against the recall filed a suit calling for the petitions to be ruled invalid. The recall effort was started earlier this year by a group claiming Medlock and Mautino were anti business and growth. The lawsuit filed to stop the recall claims the petitions were not processed under city charter guidelines. A decision on the recall lawsuit is expected next week.

Man Wanted In Baby Killing
(Tulsa, OK) -- Homicide investigators say they have a break in the case of a baby that was beaten to death. Twenty-one-month old Isaiah Clem was beaten to death in December. His cause of death has been ruled as blunt trauma to his head. Tulsa police have arrested his mother Ashley Clem on a charge of first degree murder and are searching for her boyfriend Leon Kaufman. Kaufman was first listed as a material witness in the case but recently that has changed to defendant.

Search For Missing Enid Man
(Enid, OK) -- The disappearance of an Enid man is now being considered a possible homicide. Donovan Nimmo has been missing since the middle of January. Investigators are moving the focus of the search for the 29-year-old Nimmo to the Watonga area saying they believe he has contacts in the area. The Blaine County Sheriff is being helped on the case by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. A search for Nimmo has already been conducted in the Oklahoma City area and the North Canadian River.

Tulsa Water Pollution Down
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- A state study finds that a major water source for Tulsa has less pollution than five-years-ago. The Oklahoma Conservation Commission says the amount of phosphorus entering Lake Eucha has dropped 14-percent. Credit for the reduction is being given to the Beaty Creek Water Quality Project. Beaty Creek feeds directly into Lake Eucha and was a major source of phosphorus.

Former Bank VP Accused Of Fraud
(Broken Arrow, OK) -- A former bank senior vice president is being accused of stealing nearly 400-thousand-dollars. Federal authorities claim 30-year-old Amanda Carder took the money while a senior vice president of ONB Bank in Broken Arrow. Carder is said to have taken the money from January 2002 until March 15th. The Assistant U.S. Attorney says Carder is believed to have transferred money from the bank's internal accounts into her personal accounts. If convicted, Carder could face three-years behind bars and lose her home.

Not A Normal Drug Trial
(Ardmore, OK) -- Three people are facing illegal drug, weapons and child neglect charges in Ardmore. Bobby Lee Hunt, his pregnant wife Kandice are facing the charges along with Dallas Hunt, the brother of Bobby Lee. While Bobby Lee has an attorney, Kandice and Dallas have decided to go attorneyless. Opening statements in the trial were delayed when Kandice Hunt was taken to a hospital suffering from pregnancy related medical problems. She was back in court after a medical report from the hospital stated she was not having any problems. After the prosecution delivered its opening statement it was the turn for the defense. Dallas Hunt was first saying he didn't know what he was supposed to say. Kandice Hunt declined to make an opening statement as did her the attorney for her husband. If nothing out of the ordinary happens the trial is expected to go to the jury late next week.
