When the sun came up on Tuesday, ex-Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY) was getting lots of attention as he blamed Democratic leaders for pushing him out of office because of his opposition to health care reform. President Obama is back on the road today to sell health care reform legislation, going to St. Louis to both call for action in the Congress, and to do a little fundraising for fellow Democrats from the Show-Me State.... For the first time since the new Pay-as-you-go law was signed three weeks ago, the Senate upheld a PAYGO objection to extra spending on a bill that was not paid for by offsetting budget savings, as Democrats could not muster... Since it looks like Democrats will soon try to get the House to approve the health care bill that made it through the Senate on Christmas Eve 2009, then maybe we should take some time to review the details of... Let's start off by updating the number of lamwakers in the House, which drops to 431 thanks to the resignation of Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY). That means Democrats need 216 votes for a majority, four less than what they had...
