TULSA — The Federal Emergency Management Agency has pushed back the deadline for Oklahomans to register for disaster assistance after the winter storms to May 25.
Homeowners and renters can get help with damage related to burst pipes.
They can also ask for help with damaged heating, ventilating, air-conditioning systems, refrigerators and stoves.
FEMA can also help with damage to electrical, plumbing or gas in the home.
Oklahomans can also apply for temporary housing expenses and childcare.
The 16 counties designated for disaster assistance are Canadian, Carter, Cherokee, Comanche, Cotton, Hughes, Jefferson, Le Flore, McIntosh, Oklahoma, Okmulgee, Osage, Pittsburg, Stephens, Tulsa, and Wagoner.
