Sat, Sept. 2, 2017 — A man is said to be in critical condition, following a shooting late Friday night in Tulsa.
The incident happened around 11 p.m., at a residence on North Owasso Avenue.
Police say William Easley allegedly kicked open the door to his ex-girlfriend's home.
“The victim stated that she feared for her life and shot Easley with a .380 Ruger handgun shortly after he had made entry into the residence,” police said. “Officers later found that police had been called to the residence earlier in the evening for a domestic incident where the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and then left before police arrived. The victim advised officers during scene of the shooting, that the suspect had been sending her text messages and telling her that he was going to come back and kill her.”
No word on if she’ll face any charges. The woman is said to be cooperating with investigators.
