Sun, Oct 8, 2017 — A 62-year-old Oklahoma rape suspect was arrested in Mexico this past week and will be returning to our state.

An Oklahoma City newspaper reports Henri Piette is accused of raping a girl when she was 11 or 12. From there, he "married" her in a van in Wagoner around the same time.

The victim tells People magazine Piette beat, choked, stabbed and raped her.

"(The victim) stated that she was sexually assaulted multiple times a day almost every day while she was with Piette," according to the court affidavits obtained by the newspaper.

Investigators believe Piette has strong ties with criminal organizations down in Mexico.
