A 51-year-old Henryetta man is dead following an auto-pedestrian collision in Okmulgee County Friday night.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. near Schulter.

Vehicle-1 (Toyota Prius) was traveling southbound on US75 and struck Pedestrian-1 (Sammie Harmon Jr.) who was standing in the outside lane of the highway,” Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene.  The two people inside the Prius were not injured.

Troopers are listing the cause of the crash as "pedestrian action."
