A 14-year-old Vinita teen will have to grow up quickly.
That's because Koalten Orr is accused of murdering his stepmother and now he will be tried as an adult.
A judge had previously granted youthful offender status for Orr, which means he could be released at 18 and a half years old. However, the Court of Criminal Appeals overturned the ruling and now Orr will face arraignment in 2018.
Orr allegedly fatally shot Laura Beth Hendrix.
